About SmartLock’s Founder

SmartLock’s owner, Dan Legge, has been in the locksmith industry since 2001, when he started doing access control work at Best Access Systems. Wanting to expand his skillset and experience, he worked for several locksmith companies until 2010, when he started Dan’s Pro-Lock in Phoenix, AZ.

In 2012, Dan founded Realty Rekey and SmartLock US and focused heavily on property management work until 2016. In 2017, Dan found a new opportunity with home warranty work and further expanded his range of locksmith skills and services, which included Schlage and SFIC (small format interchangeable core) master key systems and residential rekeying.

Erick was great and fast and knowledgeable. He did everything expected. The only thing I was unaware of, until he told me, was if I had not had the keys to all the locks he would not be able to re-pin them. I did have keys, so no problem. But it might help others to have that spelled out clearly, large print, up front. He also corrected one lock that was put in upside down. Great worker.
