About SmartLock’s Founder
SmartLock’s owner, Dan Legge, has been in the locksmith industry since 2001, when he started doing access control work at Best Access Systems. Wanting to expand his skillset and experience, he worked for several locksmith companies until 2010, when he started Dan’s Pro-Lock in Phoenix, AZ.
In 2012, Dan founded Realty Rekey and SmartLock US and focused heavily on property management work until 2016. In 2017, Dan found a new opportunity with home warranty work and further expanded his range of locksmith skills and services, which included Schlage and SFIC (small format interchangeable core) master key systems and residential rekeying.
